Summer recap

It's hard to believe that summer is almost over, especially with the hot weather we have been having lately.  Yesterday evening while at soccer practice for Elliott it cooled down quite nicely and even smelled like rain!!!   Making me one happy southern California girl!  I don't think it actually did rain though.

My parents birthdays are in August.

For Grandpa's we made a cookie cake.

Park days which lasted for hours...
The fair, which we went to twice.  Once on dollar day, it was a crowded nightmare.  The other day we splurged and payed full price and it was delightfully not crowded.
Nana had the big kids over for sleep overs this summer.  It was a time for crafts, treats, and cat watching.
Sunday selfie.
We went down to San Diego for Jake's wedding and bonus got to see Aunt Stephanie, Cousin Keltie and Uncle Dustin.

Disneyland a couple times!

Taylor Swift with my mama!  Great show! ohoohhoh Songs still stuck in my head.

Channel Island National Park Visitor Center
More Disneyland.

It's good to be home and finally unpacked.  There were a couple of weeks this summer that we would come home and just repack for the next trip.
Jackson is LOVING preschool!  While I am loving time to myself.  I feel like I need to do everything and nothing all at the same time! His teachers warned me the house would be really quiet.... and it is.  Kinda strange.

Lillian is doing veryvery well in school, which is nice.   She has her first homework assignment this week.  Wish me luck!  She gets tired of listening after a whole day of school.  She still keeps her implants on, but just needs me to face her more in the evening so she can lip read and hear me.

Elliott's soccer team is amazing this year!  They have several players that can control the ball really well and pass to one another.  They tire the other teams and then run circles passing around them.  Elliott is really good at defense (like his mom!) and has been playing goalie for a quarter each game!
